Great week. We finally got to go out and explore the new area we just gained and went to find CBRs and actually found them! Sister Galland is really good with directions and memory. We would've gotten way lost if it weren't for her. One of my favorite members we met this week was Co Cuc. She has been a member for a little while now. We asked her all about herself. She is the only member in her family. Her husband was learning and almost got baptized but died from a motorcycle accident. She can't go to the temple because she lost her paperwork for Cambodian residency and so she can't get her passport done. And she is always so sick. We felt so bad for her but she kept telling us how much she knows the Church is true and how much she knows that Heavenly Father loves us and that she is certain she will be able to be sealed to her husband one day. Talk about faith!!!! The members here meet so much hardship and trials but they still continue in their faith and are so good at being optimistic. Two things I know I definitely need to learn as well.
Water Festival started this week and so we are being careful because most of our area is along the river and more than one million people come to Phnom Penh to celebrate and see the boat races! Not a lot of people cam to church yesterday (including our investigator Phi Nhan). Most of them sell during this week because it's so busy and very successful for them. So it's been a little quiet.
A lot of this week, I really felt the Savior's love. I love Him. I love this work and love these people with my whole heart. I am so thankful and so privileged to be a part of their lives like this. I hope you guys have a great week and know that we are all praying for America over here.
